| Brief Description: | The Evaluation Center is engaged as a subcontractor to The Altarum Institute to assist in their evaluation of the Federal Railroad Administration's Confidential Close Call Reporting System. The initial phase of this work, completed in February 2006, entailed compiling an extensive literature review related to existing systems, analytical processes, team operations, and safety culture, among other topics. Subsequent phases are expected to entail instrument development, baseline data collection, ongoing data collection, and reporting. |
